About us
We are FluoRok, a fast-growing VC-backed start-up that is reinventing the way fluorochemicals are produced. Spun-out of the University of Oxford in 2022, FluoRok is developing safe, sustainable and lower-cost routes towards key fluorinated materials that are fundamental to our daily life and energy transition, e.g. agrochemicals & Li-ion battery electrolyte salts. FluoRok’s mission is to find new solutions to improve people’s health and food security, all while reducing our impact on the planet. We are based at leading innovation campus, ARC Oxford in new state-of-the-art facilities which opened in December 2023.
