The Production Chemist/Technician will be a target-oriented scientist working at the forefront of science, engineering, and technology. As a member of the technology team, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of our new, safe, and disruptive fluorinating processes through scaling-up our technology and study of process robustness. You will be part of a growing team of inspiring and supportive scientists and engineers working to revolutionize fluorination chemistry worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
• First-hand opportunity to scale-up a range of technologies to industry-relevant kilogram-plus scales
• Scale-up production of material for sampling and downstream processes
• Conduct process robustness and stress-testing studies on our technology
• Design and develop safety practices on scale, whilst contributing to the general high safety standards of the company
• Routinely conduct quality control (QC) and stage-gate analysis of materials

• Degree (BSc/MChem/MSc or equivalent) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or equivalent industrial experience in scale-up/production role
• Experience in working on scale using jacketed reactor vessels (>20 L) or equivalent
• Experience in carrying out safety assessment of scale-up processes
• The ability to work efficiently on your own or as part of a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and chemistry software suites (Scifinder, Chemdraw etc etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and interpersonal skills
• Right to live and work in the UK

• Experience in process analytical technology (PAT)
• Scale-up experience in both batch and continuous regimes

Pay £30,000 – £38,000 per year
